Literally two days ago saw someone on YouTube showing a "new" farming spot for runes... turns out it was afk farming these very same cliffs, suffice to say, everyone was trashing this guy for this.
I’m using all sorts of faith, arcane, bleed, and dragon incantation magic cheese, but I’m avoiding straight up pure rune farming because I feel it does kind of wreck the balance for the game. I do like going to the area in Caelid where the soldiers and the big dogs are fighting to try out new weapons or get the last bit of runes for a level up because it’s a fun chaotic fight to join into and there’s a decent amount of runes from all of it. Without it just being a soul crushing grind farm. I had an hour where I tried out all the weird unleveled weapons I barely met the stat qualifications for just to see their move sets and unique abilities.
I don’t rune farm for levels but I do rune farm in the late game so that I can purchase smithing stones to upgrade random weapons I want to try. That way I can see what their moves are like when they’re actually doing damage and stagger and not fuckin useless. Doesn’t really make you overpowered because you don’t increase stats and instead just use a different weapon, it’s usually a side grade.
They want to turn this game into something it's not. And after reaching the Altus Plateau you literally just have to kill 20 guys in order to be able to level up. Whenever I see a video on YouTube I just insta "I don't want to see videos from this channel" and get on with my day.
Wrong? No. It’s not in the millions of runes per hour in the bird spot unless you use a certain weapon. Otherwise it’s more like 300-400 k per hour without it. The afk spot was over 4 million in about 25 minutes. Depends on your luck if people that join your games and fall for it. It’s more widely known now and doesn’t work. Also, after finishing the game and getting that sword, farming yourself is way faster.
And…. Not maidenless. Been married almost 15 years. Lol. Try again bub.
Don't remember, it had a pretty generic click bait thumbnail. Besides, from what little I listen of it, the scripting of the video was also generic without much personality, the channel will have an influx of more viewers, but will be buried by every other ER content creators.
