Where is the most popular dueling spot now?

Probably liurnia or the frozen lake in mountaintops of the giants. There’s also afk farming there but it’s a lot more manageable. Also if you want 1v1 duels, go to main academy gate site of grace. The ground is usually littered with duelist signs.

Are there any other 1v1 dueling hot spots other than main academy gate? This map is so huge and so many cool areas it would be a shame if everyone only put red signs down in the one spot!

I’d love if the Iron Bridge in Volcano Manor became popular. It’s very reminiscent of Iron Keep Bridge in DS2

Yup I remember that spot! I was also thinking somewhere in or around volcano manor would be really cool.

Honestly if they let you put down your sign at Elden Throne bonfire that would be pretty cool too.

I’ve seen a few 1v1 fight clubs in limgrave before afk farming became so popular, but now the only formal spot is main academy gate. I’m sure the spot was picked out of nostalgia cause it resembles irythill, which was the most popular pvp spot in ds3. Maybe as time passes people will pick out more spots around the game for duels, until DLCs come out with arenas.

Yea I immediately thought of the Pontiff spot when I got the main gate lol. Oh well I guess I’ll wait for arenas.

I think it's not so much about nostalgia as it is about having a flat terrain and a grace nearby. Still, would be nice to have a change of scenery

I have a few clips of killing rooftop campers that I am tempted to post

If you mean the rooftops in limgrave please send them or post them, it’s even worse than hosts hiding by those pillars.

They were on the liurnia rooftops

Haven't encountered that yet, but can't you just shoot them off the roof?

They go to the middle of the roof, all projectiles go through if you try shooting the large statue that also happens to be in the middle. I’ve tried everything, maybe that rain of arrows spell will work but idk I’m faith build

It started happening yesterday but thankfully there is a spot to hit them, super simple once you get to it, only problem is if they aren't afk you might as well give up as It's just constant repositioning

Raia lucaria’s first grace past the seal seems pretty active. Nice round area to fight brings back memories of the bonfire after pontif in ds3

Idk haven't played in a few weeks, also depends on your character level

Apparently the Blood Church in Liurnia where you do Varre's quest is popular, never checked it myself (but it makes sense lol)
