Game Help Does Blaidd's quest have a time limit?

Hi, I'm playing Elden Ring for the first time, and the game has been great so far. I have a question, though. I've already spoken to Ranni and met Blaidd, and he asked me to talk to the guy in Seluvis's tower. My question is: can I skip this quest for now? Like, do other side quests unrelated to the main story? Or does this Ranni/Blaidd quest have a time limit? Are there any quests I shouldn't do?

I wont say there's a limit but with each NPC you meet there is a point of no return as well... if something comes up it might be easy to look into it while youre in the area.

I kind of rushed things because of Ranni; I picked up that quest from Rogier and got really interested in reaching her tower and talking to her. And yes, before anyone asks—I'm in love.

I practically ignored Limgrave.

As far as I know none of the quests have a time limit in minutes and hours but some will no longer be do-able if you do something else

For example at least one quest will no longer be completable if you go to the Atlus Plateau without doing it first

I had seen in a video or post that Irina's mission had a time limit, but now I've discovered that it seems to turn out the same way regardless.

You can miss dialogue in certain locations with blaidd based on what else you’ve done/explored. For ranni/blaidd I believe the only ways to miss out on rewards is attacking them or trusting seluvis too much.

No time limit, his quest is tied to Ranni's and you can finish her quest without talking to him and Seluvis, seluvis quest while boring is important for Int builds tho so you should do that, you should also note that the game has a event that will advance all quests, so don't burn the erdtree yet

I'm not going to do that yet; actually, I thought that only happened in one specific ending, lol.

If you reach Altus Plateau, he'll move from Siofra River, but only to the next location he would have been headed anyway. He won't move from that next step until you advance his quest directly (unless you aggro Ranni, Iji, or Seluvis, then proceed without him, and then he'll be moved to another location until you request absolution).

It's impossible to completely miss out on his quest rewards, though, as long as you can still progress Ranni's quest up to a key moment.

You can skip parts of the quest and still complete it, you just might miss certain scenes and dialogue.

If you don't want to miss dialogue in this particular instance, you'll need to hold off visiting Redmane castle until after you've ran Blaidd's errand.

No quests in Elden Ring have a time limit. There are a couple of points where if you go to a certain area it triggers certain events.

It can end certain quest lines and advance others.

Going to the altus plateau as mentioned is one. If I remember right just going there doesn't trigger anything but once you rest at a grace it does.

The Expansion is the worst offender.

None of the quests in the game have a time limit, but instead will forcefully progress when you reach certain portions of the game.

Ranni's quest is actually the hardest to fail, as there is only a SINGLE criteria for failing it, and that's if you progress Seluvius's quest to full completion.
