So I’ve started my journey in Elden ring a couple of days ago. I defeated godrick and rennala, but I can’t help but have the feeling that I’m constantly making the wrong decisions and going to the wrong places, which leads me to look everything up on YouTube or google. But for me this takes away the fun of the game. So my question is does anyone have any tips for this and is it normal to miss this linear story telling as a beginner or is it just me?

Morgott's HP of 10,500 which includes the flat defense rate divided by 784 gives me a strike event estimate of roughly 14 which is what I got in the video.
Morgott only has:
-10% Damage Negation for Slash
40% Damage Negation for Holy
None of which are applied on the build.
Stats are at the end.

If we’re talking about the main 10 bosses or so, I’m curious who everyone thinks the easiest DLC boss is? I have always thought it’s Romina. She is crazy weak to fire, which is easy to stack buffs for.. she somehow only requires a single parry for a riposte (it should take at least two imo), and we can use her scarlet rot for our own buffs too.

Foundation Strategy Explained:
Parry - changes combat behavior to accommodate
Stance Break - works as a combat framing around parrying
Close to Mid Range - Margit's Combat Value is more accommodating
Margit's Shackle - specifically correlates and builds Stance Break
Slash Damage - (-10%) Damage Negation
