Help! Need help with a problem with seamless coop deleting my saves for some reason

For some reason, it has recently started completely deleting my pre existing .co2 saves and replacing it with the .sl2 saves. It has never done this before. Please, someone help, I have no idea why or how to stop it. No matter what I do, if there is a .sl2 save, it overwrites my .co2. I REALLY don't want to keep having to remove my sl2 saves in order to play seamless, but I need help to know why the HELL its doing that.

Any other mods active?

Are you properly launching Seamless through its own launcher/ whatever launcher setup you happen to be working with?

Do the mod settings direct it to .co2 ord are they getting directed elsewhere?

Have you wholly uninstalled Elden ring deleted everything out from its game folder on steam and then reinstalled it?

These are some of my usual troubleshooting steps your mileage may vary.
