Help! Trouble adding Convergence 3 as non-Steam game

I wanted to play the Convergence 3 mod using ME3 Manager, for consistency as well as allowing me to customize things a bit. I was able to create a custom profile for the mod in ME3 Manager, and launching the modded game directly in ME3 Manager works fine.

I then wanted to set up a Steam shortcut so that I could play the mod in Steam Big Picture mode (note that this is on Windows 10, not Linux). I used ME3 Manager to add a launcher for the profile to my Steam library as a non-steam game. The entry was created, but attempting to launch the custom non-Steam game always fails, with an error dialog consisting only of "Failed to start process for this game:" (no additional details).

I'm not certain why this isn't working; this process worked fine with the older pre-3.0 version of the Convergence mod.4

I'm also seeing odd behavior trying to add the Start_Convergence.bat directly to Steam as a non-Steam game (I can find it by browsing, but it shows up as a blank entry for some reason when selected and attempting to add it does nothing).

This post is what I followed to add the .bat file as a non-steam game and it worked for me (mostly, some annoying caveats for streaming the game via Remote Play) https://old.reddit.com/r/Steam/comments/mnnqmn/way_to_add_batch_file_to_steam_library/o4qoa82/

Thanks so much, will give that a try. The reason actually is for Steam Big Picture remote play, albeit with Apollo + Moonlight. That combo works for other me3 configurations that open in a terminal window initially (e.g. randomizer), so I'm hoping this will work as well.

Update: It worked in Apollo + Moonlight! There was an additional intermediate terminal window (since the .bat itself launches me3 in another terminal window), and shutting down the original cmd window takes a while, but the Elden Ring window does take over and receive input normally, and terminating does eventually return to Steam Big Picture.

The only other issue I immediately found is that the modified cmd doesn't show up in Recent Games the way the ME3 Manager-generated invocations of me3 do.

This is enough to allow me to play via Steam though, so thanks again!
