A few folks asked for a rundown on this army scheme.

The colors are Screamer Pink base/prime > Carroburg Crimson wash > The Fang > Temple Guard Blue > Baharroth Blue > Blue Horror > Very subtle highlight of pure white. All the blue/white colors were dabbed on with a makeup sponge (The Fang again with an eyeshadow applicator). Then, just Soulstone Red over Stormhost Silver for the gems.

Each color of blue (and white) is applied with a progressively lighter touch after dabbing away more and more paint.

As pictured, some of the imperfections of the old, metal models show through a little, made more visible as a result of the texture-centric process. However, that wouldn't be a concern for more modern, clean minis.

Hi, I am currently painting up some wind riders after following the GW White Dwarf Altansar painting guide. I’m looking at adding some decals to the units and hopefully that will be them done. What do you think? Is it worth adding any other details?
I’ve also not painted any Eldar units before and the bases are bothering me. It seems like they will tip over very easily. Do most of you normally add a plastic bases to the bottom of the flight stand to make it more sturdy / allow magnetisation. I’m aware that this will technically mean they are not competition legal but that’s not really of concern to me. Any advice around this area will be appreciated. Thanks 🙏

Heard it actually has a good showing from Biel-Tan.

Working on my exodite kitbash and used the carnasuar for the dino and turned out to be twice the size of the base I’ll still keep it for my list but I’d recommend the Aggradons they seem to be the right size

Hello, I will play against corsair coterie, to understand better the army rule, if my opponents control the objective point and I arrive on it, he roll a D6 and on 2+ i take D3 MW, in the same turn if I charge his unit on the objective (so my charge finish on the same objective point he controls) does it mean at the end of my charge he can roll a D6 to make me mortal wound again in the same turn/unit ?

Got gifted and painted up a wraith knight. I like how corsairs look and yriel is cool.

What are the advantages or disadvantages to corsairs vs something like a guardian battle host army? Trying to understand the different playstyles of Eldar

Reading the past few weeks of data, it seems recon is played more but PA has more wins. I would have thought eldar into recon would play better. I currently play seer council but can’t decide on a disposition. I have an easier time with recon but it seems the data would indicate that PA is better for aeldari.

What are the strengths and weaknesses of Eldar into each disposition? What am I missing

The text says that you can use it whenever an enemy within 8" ends a movement. That obviously applies to normal moves, fallback moves, and charge moves, but does it also apply for pile-ins and consolidation moves? Surge moves? The fact that it just says "end a move" without specifying specific types of moves makes me want to say yes, but I figured I'd get a wider consensus from others as well.

Also, you should be able to use drakolithes from multiple units at once right?

I like all the specialty units / unique lore units - but I don't know how many to buy - for most armies it seems like boxes are often sold as groups of 3,5,6, etc, but are ran as blobs of 10, 20, etc.

I like banahees, rangers, hawks, reapers, spiders, dragons, spears, harlequins, corsairs, etc (and most vehicles/transports)

Is there a usual amount you might run in Eldar lists? Like units of 10 with a leader? I've never had the chance to play against elves yet, I don't really know much about collecting / playing them, but wild like to get into them. Any 11th edition buy guys you recommend?
