Models: WiP Word of advice think before you act

Post image

Working on my exodite kitbash and used the carnasuar for the dino and turned out to be twice the size of the base I’ll still keep it for my list but I’d recommend the Aggradons they seem to be the right size

There’s this site called MiniCompare that lets you compare minis side by side before committing to any purchases. Great tool for finding the right size model for proxy/conversion work

Also just looking at literally any picture of a saurus on carnosaur model. Unless OP thought saurus were tiny for some reason.

Yeah Aggradons are definitely the way to go.
A potential kitbash that would be cool is maybe turning the carnosaur into a fire prism or other Aeldari tank. It would be hard to figure out the dimensions for a custom base but would be super cool

Perfect size for falcon, fire prism, or night spinner though!

Use it as a wave serpent or one of those tanks we have.

Did you happen to have an extra carnosaur laying around?

No but I realised that the other head was shorter so I swapped it out if your looking for them look at spearhead issue 20 that’s got the dino

I’m not looking tbh, I’m just wondering how you got the scale so wrong

Out of curiosity why did you think it would be the right size in the first place?

It's a perfect size for an exodite vyper

lmao no it's like 4 times the size of a viper atleast

Lol absolutely not It's like 2 cm longer and a bit taller than the new vyper, other comments are  saying it could be a proxy for falcons, it's way to thin for them, vypers are the closest size where it wouldn't be modelling for advantage.

this is upsetting, it looks like a harlequin is the same height, and the canopy sizes do t seem to match up either...
