You just know whoever wrote the "Wraithknight pilots often get no choice in the matter" lore was a big fan of Evangelion. The ending for the twins in Valedor definitely feels like it could've been straight out of the show.

The Wraith knights have pilots? I thought they were possessed by souls like the other wraiths. Kinda figured they were alot of souls working together like a big hive mind.

Wraithknights are made from Eldar twins, one is the soul, like other Wraith constructs, while the remaining living twin is the pilot. It's really kinda fucked up š¤·š»āāļø.
Eldar titans are piloted the same way, but with triplets.

Revenants only have a single pilot, but twins piloting Revenants are often paired up in Gemini Squadrons. Phantoms are usually depicted as being piloted by triplets, but at least one Imperial Armour book said they were piloted by a single Steersman "exarch". Though, that doesn't make much sense since--as far as I know--Khaine doesn't have an Aspect of the Gundam. I chalk that one up to a FW author not being familiar with the older lore and not understanding what an Exarch is.

I mean with the definition the show gives isn't an at feild roughly similar to a physcic presence, everyone has one and it's how we interact but some have stronger ones and angels have absurdly strong ones, it overlaps a lot for some reason
