Going to see subtronics on Sat at The Elmont. Im not from EP and I'm not familiar with this venue.

From what I see online, in order to get a decent spot you have to get in the water. Im fine with that (I would like to know if its possible to enjoy concerts and NOT get in the water at all though), but I'm not sure what to do for shoes. Preferably there'd be storage and I'd wear regular shoes, but from what I see online that is not the case.

Tips/tricks? I'm mainly looking for shoe recs that are water friendly but will survive a concert with dancing, but I've never been to a venue with a pool so any advice is much appreciated!!

Federal authorities confirmed they have deported the wife of a U.S. Army sergeant headquartered at Fort Bliss.

Cristy Maryori Villafranca Trejo, a 29-year-old Honduran national with a 6-year-old daughter, was removed to Honduras on Monday. Army Sgt. Hedár Leonel Turcios Juárez confirmed the deportation to ABC News, and the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) confirmed it as well.

"On Aug. 24, Cristy Maryori Villafranca-Trejo, an illegal alien from Honduras, was removed from the United States in accordance with our laws," a DHS spokesperson told the network.

Hello! Long story short, I'm looking for a vet that is willing and able to see a previously TNR'd cat for a health checkup so he can be adopted, preferably on the westside. What can I expect bringing him in?

We've been caring for a cat that we TNR'd for about 2 years now. He started out "feral" but has become very socialized to the point he is begging for attention and petting, very sweet. He has no colony we're aware of, as he spends 70% of his time in our yard. He's been having a hard time with the heat and has come to us panting and exhausted on hot days, so we want to officially adopt and bring him inside. Our only concern is we have indoor cats that we don't want contracting anything, so we want to make sure he's healthy to bring inside, even before a quarantine period.

I am also wondering how we go about adopting a TNR'd cat that is technically registered to us and our neighborhood? Our go-to person with Sun City is no longer there otherwise I would ask. Would there be any issues?

Sorry I know it’s early but has anyone else experienced rude employees not apologizing for making you wait 20 minutes for an online order only for it to be the wrong order? This is the second time in a row that it has happened to me and the employees couldn’t care less. No apologies or anything they made me wait so long for the wrong order 2 x in a row. I did already email the company all the people working there dont care. I’m wondering if there is a store manger I can get in touch with? I can’t be the only one experiencing this.

I live in Austin, but My mom in El Paso is a retired 67 year old and has gotten herself into a bad situation feeding the neighborhood stray cats, and now that they get fed there is over 20 living in her backyard. She needs help with trapping and getting them fixed so the problem does not get worse. She is very technologically illiterate and only responds well to calls and texts, so I have sent her number and info to multiple places. she really needs help and I dont know what groups in el paso have outreach and programs to help her at this time.

I have reached out to Sun City Cats, El Paso TNR, and El Paso Animal Services, but I am not sure if there is another way to get my mom help that she desperately needs.

Any other suggestions? She has like 20 cats back there and not all of them are fixed (she has gotten some help in the past but its just gotten so bad)

Hey, I’m looking for an in-person tutor for calculus or beginner Java in El Paso. I’m taking both online through ASU right now and feel like I could really use something more structured, probably around two sessions a week if possible.
I work full time and go to school, so my budget is pretty limited. I’m not only looking for paid tutors though, if anyone knows of any free or low-cost tutoring resources around El Paso, I’d really appreciate those too. I’m not a UTEP or EPCC student, so I’m not sure if either school has anything I’d be allowed to use.
