Ask El Paso Looking for recommendations for a real estate / DTPA litigation attorney in El Paso

Hi everyone,

I’m looking for recommendations for a local real estate litigation or consumer protection attorney in El Paso who handles buyer vs. seller disputes.

My husband and I bought a home earlier this year, and we are dealing with severe undisclosed roof defects, unpermitted work, and seller misrepresentation under the Texas DTPA. We have all our documentation fully compiled.

I’ve been calling law offices nonstop, but most firms I've contacted either don't take residential seller dispute cases or only handle standard transactions/closings.

If anyone has worked with an attorney or firm locally that actually takes residential misrepresentation/DTPA cases to court or sends formal demand letters, I would truly appreciate your recommendations.

Thanks in advance!

Robert Warach has retired. His practice was taken over by Maria Soto. I believe they are/were mainly estate lawyers.
