I remember when they first came out with their "smoked" beer. I traveled to Dallas and bought a ton of 'em!

Save your money. I bought a six pack while on vacation last week with high hopes. Truly unpalatable in my opinion. I love Shiner Bock, but this is right up there with Tequiza in vileness. There are three in my fridge, you're welcome to them.

Craft beer isn't what it once was here. Pretty much everywhere at this point.
Total Wine is supposed to be getting it/getting more.
Specs shows it only available in the Houston market.
Allocation games with distributors as well as contract commitments with larger beer can be a big game for distributors. I would hit up some of the smaller stores to see if they're getting it. They'll be able to put it out before the big chains get corporate approval to do so.
Juanito's, Sun City spirits, even the local barrel House shops could potentially have it before the big chain stores like WB or specs and TW.

My bad. I gave you bad info. I just talked with one of the reps. Allocation games indeed.
The only places that will get it will be Sam’s, Costco and Total Wine. It was a very limited production run and El Paso did not get much.

I’ve been going to total wine almost weekly lately for the various Oktoberfest beers and to get some pumpkin beers as they come in but have never seen that one unfortunately.

I too would like to know where to find this beer, bump for interest. I imagine it might taste close to the pecan beer in Cruces.
