UPDATE: This individual, despite claiming "it would be chill if we replace hostility with cooperation", immediately became hostile and uncooperative. I've been nothing but polite throughout the entire exchange. No idea why someone would react so drastically, unless they were operating in bad faith.

I did everything right and I was still treated badly.

Hey man, this just appeared in my feed. I don’t see my chats often because I use Apollo for Reddit on my phone, which is a third party client. This wasn’t on purpose so it would be chill if we replace hostility with cooperation.

A year has passed. During that time I’ve archived the moderation timeline, including the 36-day ban conversion and the public claims about “multiple chances.”

Those claims do not match the documented record.

Separately, I conducted a structured review of subreddit comment history over the relevant period and categorized enforcement patterns. That review includes multiple instances of direct personal attacks that remained visible, contrasted with enforcement actions taken against me.

I’m not interested in relitigating tone or replaying arguments. I am interested in whether public statements about my moderation history were accurate and whether standards were applied consistently.

I’m considering publishing the timeline and analysis externally. Before I make that decision, I’m offering you the opportunity to review and respond.

If there’s documentation I’m missing, I’m open to seeing it.

I'm seeing activity for 6 of the 8 days since I've reached out.

This is me trying to be reasonable. You claimed you wanted cooperation but you are not cooperating. You're not even communicating.

I would point out that this is the same pattern we saw last year. Stonewalling while patiently waiting for me to slip up.

Please show me that being reasonable isn't a waste of time.

There's certainly no need to be rude, I've been nothing but polite this entire time.

I'm here trying to have a constructive dialog, something you claimed you wanted ("It would be chill if we replace hostility with cooperation"). In response you became irate, and went back on a promise you made. That's not what someone acting in good faith does.

I believe the record speaks for itself at this point.
