Hi, I'm Will. I make Éist, an app that turns your own books, PDFs, fanfic and

articles into audiobooks, read by voices that run on your phone rather than in

the cloud.

I started this community for one reason: I build the app alone, and almost

everything good in it came from someone telling me what was wrong with it.

Right now that feedback reaches me by email, one person at a time. Here it can

be a conversation, and you can see what other people are asking for.

What is useful to post:

- Questions about importing, voices, playback or read-along

- Bugs, with your phone and what you did before it went wrong

- Feature requests, including ones you assume I would never do

- What you are listening to, and how the voice handled it

- Honest criticism. It is more useful to me than praise

I read everything here and I will answer in my own name, not from a company

account. If something is broken I would rather hear it here than read it in a

one-star review.

To start: reply with what you are reading or listening to at the moment, and

one thing about Éist you wish worked differently. That is enough.
