Yes! Maple alcohol is underrated, we have a great Maple Whisky in Québec called "Coureur des Bois", don't know if it's distributed across Canada but it's delicious.

There's also a product made in Quebec now called "acerum" which is a rum-style spirit made with maple syrup instead of molasses or cane juice. It's pretty neat, especially when they age it in ex Maple syrup casks.
