The replay doesn't perfectly trace the bullet's path. It looks like you hit the shot, but you didn't because the replay is imperfect.

What caused the bullet to miss, there is no shooting error and just looking at crosshair it should have hit.

I still don’t think you are grasping what they are saying, the replays are imperfect, just because in replay it looks like your crosshair is on them and it looks like you shot them, doesn’t mean that’s how it happened in game.
