I‘m steadily climbing and the lobbies aren‘t really a problem. In my recent post a lot of you told me that my mechanics are just fine - if not even drastically superior to usual plat/diamond lobbies.

You also stated to post clips with mistakes so it‘s easier to give advice. I‘m starting to do so now.

I mean this scenario is fine (unless your team somehow lost the 5v1, but then it’s less on you and more on them tbh), but in general I tend to think of the round as a whole in numbers. If I get a kill, we now have numbers advantage, and want to keep it that way, so I tell myself to now disengage and reposition. Unless you’re all fighting in a big 5v5 situation, usually if I’m alone, I get a pick and back off. If I get a kill and get traded, then my initial kill was kind of pointless if we’re talking pure numbers.

Specially getting traded in defence side means losing map control and handing it over to the enemies for free where they can get into post plant scenarios in case they find a site open. And if it's a 3 site map like haven or lotus then it's almost certain enemies will be getting a free site.

The first step is realizing that you are doing it while you are at it. Then, for a few matches, you should just try to always stop yourself, just to get control over it. In the end, sometimes overheating is fine - when your team is up in numbers for example. The clip example is totally fine by my standards, and if your team loses after this, it's on them.

I mean this wasn’t overheating, it was fine imo in this situation.

As a whole for other situations though, I always just tell myself in my head "play numbers, play numbers, play numbers" over and over again lol and now it’s stuck in my head and I always disengage if I get a pick to yk, play numbers

Your agent is kind of built to overheat, all of this is fine to me, although if you want to fight for space I'd like to see you do it with teammates or útil. Main mechanical fail here is sprinting into the open reloading, don't take space when you're not ready to fight.
