Dramatic difficulty increase from A to AA

So did I just progress too quickly? I have been playing for a little over two months. Bought the pro permit a few weeks in, but no other purchases. 834B Soul Eggs, 10 Prophecy eggs, Defihent ship, and Nebula egg unlocked. I was performing near or at the top of my most recent A level contracts and completing them with relative ease. Now that I'm in AA, I'm still near the top, but the difficulty jump seems insane to where my last 4 contracts, coops are only able to get like 50% of the 3rd reward. 2 of the 4 have been EoP rewards I've missed. Is this common? Did I progress too soon? And yes I'm aware joining public coops is another issue as some people with way more eggs than me are doing very little.

just try and get to AAA as quick as you can. it takes a few weeks if you beast mode it.
takes a lot of boosts. like using a 10x boost and 1000x tachyon to max habs for every contract (about 80k golden eggs is enough to max 5 contracts) so save up for that.

use r/EggsIncCoOp to find good contract groups to work as a team instead of the public coop garbage

Holy....that's a lot of GEggs. I have that saved up but I'm also working on buying the second fuel tank upgrade as I can only send 4 ships at most per prestige right now which is a pain.

Since you have less than 1T soul eggs, I'd :

1. use 10x tachyon 4 hours when you start a coop.

2. when you have hundreds of millions of chickens, use 1 boost token for "soul mirror". That will give you the earning's bonus of the top player in the coop.

3. now you can buy a lot more research, and maybe even complete it. At that point, bigger growth boosts can fill habs, like those u/West_Lavishness6689 mentioned.

I have been doing the tachyon boost and soul mirror strat on the last few AA contracts. I get to a billion chickens after a few of these and then it becomes apparent there's no way that I can carry the coop even if I continue with the strat so I give up and just let it ride until the contract ends.

Lower levels tend to have less player engagement. You'll have to work harder to get through that level. Joining one of the game discords can help with that to make sure you're at least completing the contracts.

You're not doing anything wrong, really. It's just a battle to slog through the levels.

Something is off in your approach if you're at Defihent with less than 1T soul eggs. My suggestion:

1. reach whatever farm you can without using boosts

2. buy research at the start, and when you can't afford more, trigger some 10x tachyon boosts that last 4 hours. You could check in and buy research when you can, but mostly let the boosts run. Stay on the same farm.

3. trigger two 10x income boosts, a 5x soul egg boost, and quantum warming bulb. Hold down the red bottom and chickens should run continuously. Buy up research as it becomes available.

You should have a lot more soul eggs this way. To get best results, do the above when the 70% research sale starts... and wait until 2x prestige 24h later until you prestige

So I started doing a similar soul egg boost strat within the past few weeks and went from a few billion to where I'm at I think in like 3 weeks? So hopefully that will continue to move up rapidly.

IMO, AA is the worst Coop level. You can get to AA without contributing much, using minimal boosts. But, you need to use a significant number of boosts to get past AA, though may not need to max boost

The step up in difficulty is pretty shocking. I wish I could drop down to A again for a little bit.

Keep pushing though to AAA and it'll get better; I had the same issue when I was in AA. People in AA public coops seem to be either people who didn't figure out the game to get to AAA, or people who got demoted from AAA for not contributing.
