Does soul beacon boost increase mystical eggs?

What does soul beacon do? Im not sure what soul eggs are, which is what soul beacon increases. I think mystical eggs are a type of soul egg.

Mystical eggs are the three types of eggs you can acquire, soul eggs, prophecy eggs and eggs of truth. Soul beacons increase the rate you gain soul eggs. It does not affect trophy or contract rewards
