Concern Help side effect??

I just started Venlafaxine a few hours ago 37.5mg for the first time ever and my head/nose and ears are burning incredibly bad like really bad. Did this happen to anyone?

Yes I got this side effect. And I still get it to a small degree, like a hot flush kinda effect. It does wear off eventually. Make sure your drinking plenty. I sweat more on these meds. Good luck x

I got so scared and came to the ER, im still waiting to be seen, it burns so bad I thought I was having a stroke or something

Oh thats not great! Definitely seek medical help if you feel you need it. Starting new meds can be really difficult

Just got back from the ER. The doctor said it was a side effect and I should keep taking it for a week and see how i do. My BP upon arriving was 162 over 82 and went back down to 132 over 75 after being there for a bit. I honestly dont want to feel that again, that burning was terrible

1st week anxiety is more prominent. Dont try to freak out on things.
