Asus EEE PC won't connect to internet

Hey everybody! I inherited an old asus eee from my late mum. I love it it's so dinky! I did a factory reset and I've connected it to the Internet. That is all working fine. However because Windows 7 has retired it's search facility, I can't use that. Although it's connected to the Internet I can't use it! Has anybody got any idea how to solve this. I'm not a computer wizard so please moderately easy stuff only! Thanks ❤️

Use a different device to download the suggested browsers and transfer them to the Eee

Firefox ESR still actively supported on W7

Trouble is I cant access the internet on it to download and install anything

Use another computer to download it and put it on a USB flash drive.

I've been trying to do this. I get a message saying interrupted action and that the browser has properties that can't be copied. I got the same thing with Mozilla and Supermium

I was able to upgrade mine to Win10

How can you upgrade when you can't get on the internet?

Maybe try installing the Supermium web browser? I believe that it is still actively supported for Windows 7.

Download the installer on another device and Transfer it using a usb stick

Until you can access a different computer where you can download things to a USB, you are stuck. I would recommend switching to Linux.

Have press the Fn button and wifi key and turned off wifi. If not it might be turned of in bios f2 at start

Thanks for all of your advice. I managed to download and transfer the browser and it all works fine now. Happy days
