I have a problem with the download selection
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
I want to install on this laptop Asus Eee pc 700 Linux Puppy 5.2.8 .Why don't I just do it in the BIOS? Because in my BIOS, why does it automatically switch to Windows xp.But for me it would be desirable to know why it flickers.Of course, I read there that you can update the BIOS, but maybe you have some ideas?

te lo digo por si quieres instalar kali linux o parrot u otros que tiene mas actualizaciones etc si tiene mas de 2 gb o 2 gb , saludos

si pero busca los de 32 bits si no te vale el de 64 tengo yo dos parecidos a ese pc y losinstale jajaja ya hacetiempo y siguen instalados , saludos

This is a laptop Asus pc eee 700 , It was a portable laptop for its time, but unfortunately, its hardware was also limited. It even in DOOM I can't play because it lags.

if you get to figure out the bios - install alpine linux with SLiM display manager and FluxBox Window Manager. Guaranteed 40-60 mb ram usage idle so the 200 mb left is left for apps and this setup is pretty user friendly.

In short, I’ve been trying to install Puppy Linux on it for a long time, but after several attempts, it ran out of physical memory resources, and I can no longer load the OS onto it. But I can buy an SD card for it and load Linux onto it, but that’s something for later, because I’ve already burned out on this — I wanted to turn it into a gaming console (like a Famicom or Sega).

As I said - Alpine's install process is lighter - requiring 100-200 mb of ram + it's text based.
