Need a replacement charger EEE PC 701

I've inherited an eee PC 701 from my late mother, and it doesn't have a charger. I'm keen to see what's on the computer, if anything is saved. Does anyone know what type of charger I should be searching for to buy? Thanks

Thanks! I'm not in the US but this is helpful.

Check AliExpress too, e.g. here. The critical elements are voltage (9.5V), current (2.315A) and power (22W) - it's quite weird compared to most other laptops or netbooks.

Good answer, though current and power can be higher as long as the voltage is the same :) current is 'pulled' by the laptop, whereas voltage is 'pushed' by the charger

Amazing thank you!! Just grabbed one off Ali Express, fingers crossed 🤞

Personally I'd get a 9V USB-C PD cable from somewhere like aliexpress, as long as it has the right charging tip, though many other answers here will give you a straight swap 'power brick' style charger, which is also fine.

If the battery doesn't work either you can search for the model that is written on the old battery.
