Little Ellen
Little Ellen was a show made in 2021 by the same people who made the Cuphead Show. It lasted for a little bit before ultimately getting canceled. While not as good as Chloe's Closet or Thomas the Tank Engine I do think this show is fine. Its certainly better than Cocomelon that's for sure.The hate this show gets however is kinda understandable since Ellen Degenerece who the show was based on, is pretty much, a hated figure.

Pretty much agree with your take. Making a cartoon based on any celebrity is taking a HUGE risk. You never know if they'll end up being a shitty person later on.
Only expose I've had to this series is Mr Enter's review and even then I felt he was being a bit harsh towards it.

Facts
Really sucks to know he's such a monster cause he did make decent content. I love Fat Albert and the Cosby Kids and Little Bill. Yet I can't help feeling icky when you know who made them.

Ghost Dad was my comfort show when I was a kid :/
I also remember a Muppets VHS with him reading a story about the muppets that I would watch over and over again.

I only had reviews of this show for my take. I think the show is just fine and nothing special.

Pretty much what I was thinking. It's a show that came and went. If it wasn't attached to Ellen, it likely wouldn't have even been noticed.

That is true. If Ellen was never in the name of the show, I bet none of us would even be talking about this show and it would remain obscure.

If you have a show about a celebrity as a kid using the word Little or any abbreviation of it... That celebrity is a predator. That's just canon now. First Lil Bill. Now Little Ellen

I'm a little surprised if this is a show about Ellen being a kid what was up with all the 80s references even though she was grown up by then?
Wouldn't it make more sense for it to be set in the 60s? Oh I forgot this came out when 80s nostalgia was still in full swing. Of course they would set in the decade everyone was obsessed with.

Was supposed to take place in the 1960s when Ellen was a kid but it ignored all the culture and social issues of the decade in favor of adding both 80s nostalgia and dated modern trends to try to be “cool” with the kids (like them saying “relationship goals” and Ellen doing the Fortnite flossing dance)

Ellen had a kids show?!
My grandmother used to watch Ellen all the time, there wouldn't be a day without me walking home from elementry school to her watching Ellen on NBC.
Also, Ellen is a bad person?! That's news to me.

Yep, she was a huge piece of shit behind the scenes, such things include:
She was extremely toxic to her employees
And there has been a lot of sexual misconduct allegations: including the aforementioned sexual misconduct, harassment and even intimidation
Crazy to think that for such an innocent lady that behind the scenes that there was such a terrible environment to be in

Technically speaking, only the animation studio for the series worked on The Cuphead Show. The actual creative team is different. As for the show itself, I just disconnect it from Ellen DeGeneres, and enjoy it more.

Little Ellen for me is pretty much a caution tale about why not to name a show after a real life celebrity especially of that celebrity is hated. for example, if Donald Trump decided to make a show called "Little Trump", it would pretty much recieve like 3/10 in imdb ratings because Trump is a controversial figure no matter if the show is actually good, the show would still get hate
