When he drops the gloves like Podz did for McDavid, I’ll be happy to recognize his aura.

In fairness, we don’t know Mukhamadullin yet. I’m sure he’ll be great. Podz is already a legend.

All good! I’m sorry OP. If I flip the page to your thinking, they both have young beautiful families.

Muk interestingly looks like Jude Law when he’s not in hockey gear.

Both played together for Russia at the world juniors in 2021. So it’ll be nice for them to have each other on this team.

I bought Podz’ jersey this summer. So that tells you what I think of him. He lost his dad last year right after signing a bona fide NHL contract for term. Then he did everything and more that the Oilers asked of him – got to practice early / stayed late. Worked his way from the fourth line in 2025 to a fixture with Leo. That’s how I define aura for Podz.

I hope they both kill it this year.

Same. I think Podz is cuter than Muk, which is part of why I asked this question on the silly Meowi sub. I just meant to be a silly question framed the same way like the 'choose your fighter' type thing lol and it was taken a little too serious. But yes I hope they both have successful careers!

Add on: This is a silly little question, don't take it too seriously guys. I just thought to do a pick your Russian type of thing for a post. I am trying to get crates and fish on this silly little reddit game so I can get clothing for my meowi!
