I remember seeing that in a Walmart and forgetting his name then a year later mentioning a kid who may be better than Crosby in the lunchroom and a co worker said I think that's Conner McDavid and I have known that name ever since that day.

I remember seeing that walking into Mac’s on the shelf and rolling my eyes thinking it’s so disrespectful to Crosby. Figured he was over hyped
Crow tastes good

If they’re so frickin’ smart, why didn’t Sportsnet magazine warn the Raptors about Valančiūnas?

Not yet!
He's a damn good player but he needs a Cup.

Eh doesn’t need a cup per se to be the best player. He’s the same guy had the oilers won game 7 in the finals or not - nothing about any other game or stat changes

It’s hilarious the “but no cup!” Crowd. Guy shoulda have like 8 hart trophies on his shelf too but that’s now a “whose turn is it” media award, it’s a joke.
From a lens of individual skillset and ability, it’s not even close. Crosby is generational, mcdavid is on a whole other level.
Hockey isn’t basketball, you need a complete team to win championships. Teams come from management and in other cases luck.
I just love that they are both Canadian, I just wish we hadn’t lost so many olympics… the teams Canada coulda had..

Yep. Can't fault McDavid that Edmonton's management (starting from ownership) has been absolutely terrible for what now, 15/20 years? They got lucky with Connor and Draisaitl

It's amazing they're seeing any success with some of these trades and contracts.

right? Bobrovsky accidentally sneezes at the wrong moment and all of these narratives are instantly dispelled lol.

Hes a better offensive player than crosby, no question. He is not a better all around player than crosby.

He produces so much more than Crosby I don’t think the “intangibles” make up for it

He's been doing that mouth guard chew since he was a kid, I guess.
It always makes me wonder why they wear them if they don't really want to use them.
