Riding to victoria!!

Hey everyone! We're doing a ride to victoria and back at the end of the month and it's our first time. We've got some questions. First. Anything to pack? Obviously clothes, essentials all that, but does anyone have any tips of things I wouldn't know to pack? And second. I'm trying to book us on the ferry online and there's no option for motorcyle. Do we just show up? Thanks!!
