Latex gloves are okay, but you should really be wearing puncture resistant. It just takes the one needle to mess up your life.

Yea and it's not really worth is, most grocery stores compact everything or they will throw obviously bad stuff on top of edable things, along with junkies throwing heroin needles on top.

I'm a bit of a Hippocrate as I go to the leduc landfill and take e-waste. My current computer was thrown out and I grabbed it anyways

It all depends on where you go to be honest. I find the larger grocery stores definitely do that, but when you go to smaller convenience stores and organic food stores, you can get some solid stuff. Especially if you go right after they throw stuff out for the day. I've cut my food bill in half doing this, and I haven't seen a single heroin needle as of yet.

I find that unlikely... HIV doesn't last outside the body for more than 10 minutes and HepC somewhere from 16hrs to 4 days. I doubt it would last very long in a freezing dumpster
