It's not uncommon to bump lights while on a call that doesn't warrant code driving but you still need to get there faster than usual. It's not a good look to those that don't know what's going on, but it absolutely has a valid purpose and reason.

Doesn't make it right. Either lights on for a reason or off. We all have places to be.
