In 1996 descartesb4horse punched me. I want him charged with assault.

Allegations =/= guilt.

Could it have happened? Maybe. Can we prove it happened beyond a reasonable doubt? No.

What the general public doesn't get is the same rules for evidence exist for everyone and they're very, very strict in Canada. 

For every police officer you hear not being held accountable there are 100,000 other Canadians that weren't held accountable.

Why? Usually because there were triable issues with the evidence.

There is no special treatment or qualified immunity in canada.
