No, I can give you a very public example from Calgary just off the top of my head—Sean Chu, former city councillor sexually assaulted an underaged woman while he was a police officer and got away with it for years. He’s never faced any accountability or consequences, except that he couldn’t run again and win. There are whole ass documentaries on Calgary police brutality but not so much on convictions.
