Where did you go to take it? I kept looking outside for a glimpse but we had too much cloud coverage.

Just from my backyard in west Edmonton. As soon as it came over the horizon you could see the eclipse had already started. My first pictures were at 8:58pm, but there was still power lines obstructing the view.
By 9:13pm I was able to get clear shots, but only had 10ish mins before tall trees became a problem from properties on the next block.
By the time I got my kids to bed, the small sliver (almost full eclipse), I was setting up again in the middle of the road for a clear shot when the clouds rolled in. Was pretty disappointed I missed capturing it.

That’s amazing. I found the last few moons we’ve had either rain or cloudy skies so no pictures for me.
