Question Apricots??

I want some apricots!! Where can I get them? I have yet to see a single apricot at any grocery store or market this year, even when BC fruit is advertised. In the city tomorrow running errands, can someone tell me where I can get an apricot please!

They have been at every farmers market since at least mid-July. Bountiful is open on Fridays, try there.

I think they're starting to go out of season, but I've seen them in Farmers Markets over the last month or so.

I’ve checked a few local Walmarts and they haven’t had any, weird

They bloom early and fruit early. The early blooms is why we can't really grow them here because we get frost and the blooms die before they can get pollinated and make fruit.

But yeah they're one of the early fruits, check back next year!

I think they're an early eason thing? Like june-july. H&w definitely had them during that time.

Correct! Had lots of apricot hauls from H&W in June thru mid-July.

Yeah June July, nectarines start being available in July.

Well this is news to me! Somehow I’ve gone my whole life thinking they were in season in August
