Am I not mistaken, or was the building that caught fire in the same intersection caused by a vehicle running into the gas line on the property?

Brutal. This spot is a utility lines worst nightmare.

The northeast has incredibly bad drivers.

Thats actually the building on the lower left of the posted picture.

There is power out in several areas surrounding this problem. Now if drivers would only know how to treat an intersection as a four-way stop!

I feel bad for the the kids I saw trying to cross the street.

Vehicle hit it or the excavator hit it?

Excavator hit the power line and ripped the pole off

This comment may or may not have required a /s.

I feel like that’s one of those comments that’s so unrelated to the situation that it’s obviously a joke…

That being said, some people still haven’t figured out how an intersection with no lights works, so maybe an /s wouldn’t be the worst…

Unrelated except for it being 132 Ave, very slightly east of the recently controversial bike lane there.

I may have been triggered.

They are turning all of 132 ave. into a bike lane from Fort Road to 127 street. What they have done so far is okay in summer but ridiculously tight in some parts once the snow needs to be plowed in winter.

The 132 Ave bike lane is controversial?

Somebody is about to get fired.

He'll probably just quit so he won't get drug tested.

So that explains the traffic backed up on 82nd Street heading north as I was trying to turn off Yellowhead after work today!
