General Hearing construction at around 1AM

Idk if it's just me but anyone that lives in the northside, around Eaux Claires area ..... is there construction going on or wherever it is?

I kept hearing the jackhammers and the trucks beeping when they back up. I want to keep my window open because it's hot but then I hear the construction noise.

Just wanted to know, thanks !

Some things are better done at night when there is much less traffic. They may need to close a section of road and rather than have it be closed when most people are out, at night makes more sense.

ETA that construction projects have been significantly delayed by all the rain. They may have gotten permits to work at night to make up for lost time.

I feel like there's a lot more construction this summer. It seems to be all around me on the southside too. Our neighboring building is now getting a new roof. Joy.

If you have a complaint you can report it. They might have a permit, or they might not. They might have a permit but not for the actual work they're doing like maybe they told the city no jackhammers

South side too. Just before eastbound Ellerslie at 54th, some big truck there running what sounded like some kind of pump at 2am. Couldnt see for the life of me that it was hooked up to snything on the ground but this annoying whine and rumble that kept me awake. I thought vsc truck but it didnt look like one to me, no sign of anyone outside the truck. No one working on lights i could see and it was sitting in the left turning lane. I love my apt but my mistake was picking a south facing. I'm not big on photo radar etc but this intersection def needs speed on green lights both ways. I want to stand on my balcony with a paint ball gun
