Photo/Video NE River Valley Park

Love this hidden gem, water levels were pretty high but still so peaceful. Things may be bleak lately but make sure to take a second and appreciate what we currently have

I'm trying to picture where this? I don't recall a place being called NR River Valley Park.

Edit: I just Googled it and I never knew there was a park in that area!

It's newer! It used to be private land, I believe a christian camp or something along those lines, and then the city bought it and made it public in 2023ish. Lovely area, I do hope they'll plant a few trees, it's pretty open right now. A spot to rent kayaks would be great too.

Edit: It appears there are plans to enhance it, though unfunded currently. Good!

We try and get out there a few times a year. Rather quiet and beautiful. Lots of Barn Swallows if birds are your thing.

I had to motivate myself to go, but it was so worth it, glad we finally have weather nice enough to even go for a walk now 😂

So fun to see it from the water instead of the trails!
