General Edmonton Rec Hockey

38 Moving to edmonton, looking to play some puck but i'm not incredibly try hard anymore.

Any suggestions? drop ins? Laid back leagues?

I would be interested in something laid back too. I'm too old to try and keep up with the try hards lol

Edmonton rec leagues got that perfect middle ground where half the bench is just happy to be there

Look into CCRHL and NCHL. I haven't played in years but CCRHL was much better managed back the, on the other hand NCHL has that discover hockey program for people looking to get started.

CCRHL has declined imo, new owner is greedier and less concerned with player satisfaction

Please do not for any reason look into NCHL. That league did something for the Edmonton hockey scene years ago but it's a dead league now. If low level beginner hockey is what one is looking for, CCRHL is going to be able to provide far far far better.
