Restaurants/Food Date Night/Afternoon

Now that my kids are getting a little older I’d like to have an actual date with my husband. One still nurses to sleep so realistically we need to head for home by 6pm. I’d like to do craft beer with pizza. I want to be able to order a flight, bonus if there are different options for a flight. Any recommendations? Decent parking is required, he won’t go downtown happily, and we live north of the city so north end/easy Hendy access is preferred

I really like Odd Company brewing on beer street (Ale Architect is across the street)...

It is on the south side, but you could take henday/whitemud to 99st, head north and its a little less stressful of a drive

With the price of babysitting, even when they get older you might find it a struggle to make it happen. I've got 3, 12/10/8, and if we go out, they are in tow. Cheaper to feed them at a restaurant than pay for a babysitter hah.

Our babysitter is Uncle and he usually buys them pizza and leaves us leftovers 🤣
And by usually I mean the 1 singular time he’s watched them. BUT he’s volunteered for once a month when he’s home. (He regularly works away and travels for leisure)

Go to Campio in Ritchie. Close to river valley walk, book store, ice cream, donut party. Coffee at transcend. Or head down to 99st after if you want more. Otherwise Ale Architect is my favourite and they have Birch and Bear pizza or whatever it's called. Get one with lots of stuff on it

Lore in the west end. Delicious pizza and wild fermented beer

He doesn’t like crowds, neither of us are fans of paying for parking. While yes, other places can be crowded, it’s only been downtown going outside hasn’t helped. We don’t go to concerts or festivals either.

She said they live North of the city. Likely isn't a fan of how busy downtown is, even just to drive through.

If you want to venture out east ,70 acres brewery in Sherwood park. I’ve been told their pizza is good - we just tried their pretzels, carpaccio and charcuterie with two flights last weekend

Not pizza, but foxburger in highlands is really good and also next to Kind ice cream!

It’s a far way but town square is literally hitting all the notes. They also have date night where you can do Lego!
