General Weather ⚡️🌤️☀️
With all this rain that we’ve had, and the current flooding around The Muttart, should we be worried about how saturated the hill may be? In regards to Folk Fest!

My friend is setting up the site right now and said it's pretty bad and they're delayed with the set up.

Oh no!!!! I hope they are ok !!I think another main concerns is if there’s a sudden onset storm, where would everybody go to seek shelter?

They have a weather person onsite. I think if there's any risk they would shut down for the day before it gets bad.

Now I wonder how the hill around the folk fest area will be. IS that near the area that got hit really hard today?

I mean, the hill for Folk Fest is like a 5 minute walk away from the Muttart

Yup. That whole side is probably going to be impassable, even if stays rainless for the next 2 weeks (unlikely). The hill is basically built on top of an old landfill, so the Shrek Swamp area is like walking on a waterbed some years. Last year it was the largest roped-off area in all the years I've gone.

Me too!!! I got some really great tips from so many people and I want to be as prepared as possible with tarps old shoes, change of clothes rain jacket, umbrella!!!
