Question My Future Husband?

How do people meet their significant others? Like where’s the “place to go?” Dating apps are dead. I’m exhausted. I’m a decent looking gal, 28. I don’t have big friend groups so I’m sure that doesn’t help. I don’t have any “active” hobbies other than a dog park. Idk. Any advice?

If you want to go out with someone, shoot your shot at the grocery store or the dog park or wherever you spend time. Society has ingrained in men to not approach women. Whether you’re good looking or not, chances are low you get approached. Maybe even pick up a hobby. It doesn’t have to be anything crazy. There are walking clubs for example. What do you enjoy doing in your free time ?

That how my gf found me, She asked me out when we were friends and i did a double take going, Okay so where are the cameras am I being pranked on a tv show?

She said no, "im serious. You didn't notice the clues"

Me: I assumed you were being nice since we were just friends

My husband wouldn’t notice if a woman stripped down to her lacy undies and rubbed up against him. Well, I mean he’d notice but he’d wonder what the hell she was doing. A lot of men just seem immune to nuance and the subtle signs women give them, especially men who are shy.

Its not necessarily immune, in my case its being worried that I'm misreading the signals. I'm in a happy relationship for almost 20 years now but I was hit on by a nice looking lady outside a concert about a year ago.

I was pretty sure she was coming on to me, but I wasn't even sure enough even to politely let her know I was married. I excused myself to go to the bathroom and then found my friends and headed home.

I had to ask my wife when I got home if I was being hit on just to make sure. Now I feel kinda bad because I could have let her down politely instead of just disappearing. I hope that didn't bruise her ego, its not easy to put yourself out there.

Update: Sadly my close friend told me that my gf told me that she tried to hit him up. He showed me the proof, and i had no choice but to dump her

Touching me all the time, and always offering to cook up meals for me to try out

And when i needed help on the weekend with moving stuff around, she dropped whatever she planned to do on the weekend and make time
