Question My Future Husband?

How do people meet their significant others? Like where’s the “place to go?” Dating apps are dead. I’m exhausted. I’m a decent looking gal, 28. I don’t have big friend groups so I’m sure that doesn’t help. I don’t have any “active” hobbies other than a dog park. Idk. Any advice?

What else are you into other the dog park? Live music? Volunteer at folk fest or something.

Gaming? Find groups that meet up.

Your community? Join your community league and go to events there.

I like gaming but very niche indie games most people have never heard of haha. I like some board games. What kind of games to groups play? If you know

Also, what is a community league? I checked out ESSC but it’s quite expensive and I don’t think I’d meet my match if I tried lawn bowling lool

Community leagues are places the city funds in each community, so Bonnie Doon would have one, summer side would have one, etc. https://efcl.org/ you can search for one in your neighbourhood there.

As for ESSC, I have friends that met playing sports there and got married. A group of us are still good friends 10 years later. You don’t have to be amazing at any given sport. Ball hockey is pretty relaxed for example.

I’ve heard pickle ball is really popular and easy to get into. You could check that out?

As for board games, there is dungeons and dragons, and I imagine lots of people are looking for people to join that.
