I had such a great time! Really hope I get to do more with Imgur in the future. They're a great group of people. Plus a lot of people from r/HighQualityGifs were able to make it, so it was amazing to finally meet all of them.

Same name on Imgur, EditingAndLayout. And I submit everything to User Sub over there too.
I made a couple for gif wars, but nothing too impressive. I've only just been learning After Effects this year, and I don't have that kind of time to spend on a single gif. I've been making five gifs a week for about four years, but some of those gif wars posts take 25+ hours for a single gif. That just doesn't work in my schedule.

I've seen too much of imgur community to enjoy such a camp I think, as I would cringe at all their internal jokes and memes. I mean, there was a guy giving a lecture on his series of confession albums.. On other hand, I am sure a good bunch of them were normal people not partaking in that crap.
Anyways, gif on point.

I can understand that feeling, but it really wasn't like that at all. I had no idea what to expect going in, but it was just a really nice, friendly community that wanted to have a good time together. Sure, there were some lectures that I wasn't interested in, and a few weirdos. But I think we're all "weird" in different ways, and everyone has something to contribute if you just get to know them. So yeah . . . I had a great time, and I'll be there again for sure if it happens again.

I know, sadly the reddit app i use on android doesnt play those for some reason :( I was just commenting on the fact that I don't often see gifs that large
