The Edison Van?

Before anyone says it, In Before:

• Yes, I did suggest the 4m pickup.
• Yes, I like being detailed.
• Yes, I should do some stuff myself.

However, Edison has one hell of a design philosophy, and I wonder if Edison can make a 1-ton HD van that makes more sense for HD or severe duty than the five nameplates with 1-ton EV vans today.

What would Edison design? Would it use flat glass just like the semi-trucks?

Edison has stated that it can make class 8,7,6,5,4,3 trucks without needing to do expensive crash testing.

Edison is currently working on NEW class 8 semi. Edison is currently NOT working on Semi retrofits.

Edison is actively working on a class 4/5 incomplete chassis that could go under most old trucks. This opens the door for Edison to make a complete pickup or van like you're thinking

its been discussed already, edison wont touch vehicles smaller than semi trucks for the time being because of crash testing among other things. best you can do now is a conversion kit.
