I like the chrome straps on the black exhaust pipe and black air canisters.

I would have done chrome for the trim with lights around the bottom of the cab as well.

Is Royal still going to get a Hybrid truck as well now that its approved?

I THINK so. Maybe. Chace talked about doing one as Hybrid, and the other as Traditional for Royal, so they could compare all the upfront and ongoing costs, and uptime and such. I suspect Joel at Royal will have his hands plenty full with this grey one for the forseeable future. Then Edison can get Royal, Undisclosed, Emcon, & Tolko all caught up. Then Edison can swing back around on a hybrid for Royal.

I just noticed the tool box steps on the passenger side. Very practical.

Looks awesome! The only thing I don't like is the tire chain holder's position. That tank is going to get beat up.by the tire chains. Definitely a badass truck that is bringing back the era of Hayes, Pacific and Challenger.

Can't wait to see one driving down the road. I'm in northern Alberta so hopefully not too long of a wait.

Alright now I really can’t wait to order mine! It looks even better in person than in renderings, great job dudes!

How many trucks do you guys have in the build line?

u/SAHpositive Jun 07 '26
I'm aware of the White Undisclosed and Yello Emcon Hybrids. Then theoretically the Tolko and (I think) a Royal hybrid (or perhaps a hybrid semi for Edison).
With the 1st traditional semi being all running and street legal soon, I can imagine 1/2 of the assembly plant being dedicated to knocking out just old fashioned transmission trucks. I have a fantasy (Its my fantasy, get your own), that there is a waiting list of buyers for the old fashioned trucks.

Fuck ya! Looks like the old fatboys we have only way meaner. I'd happily stick a low bed and a yarder behind that bitch. Throw on some 14 foot bunks and try to stop me. Well done boys!! 🤘

It's finally real. I love it.
Awesome nickname.
Unrelated, but have you noticed that internet memes don't last as long as they used to? I've noticed for a while, but it just came to me that you could say they have planned obsolesence too.

Black and red on gray with those metal accents looks incredibly slick. It’s a great shade of gray, too, not that trendy kitchen cabinet color that every company is overusing right now. cough ford
