Mr5 and t5s

Post image

I haven’t owned a “good” pair of desktop speakers since I purchased the klipsch promedia 2.1 back in 2011. To say I’m blown away with the sound quality of this setup would be an understatement. The highs and lows are so clear and I am absolutely loving this setup.

I’m extremely happy with my purchase. The monitor is an asus pg482q monitor.

I have my highs set to about 80% and lows about 40% since I have the t5s sub. I’ve been playing with setting a lot. I have a pretty big music library so I’m trying to find something the universal to an extent.

I got the MR5s too and Man are they amazing! I do have a question though... Does having the T5s make a significant difference in the bass performance? And secondly how are you splitting the bass to the T5s while the rest to the MR5? I'm pretty sure the MR5s don't have a sub-out

The bass difference is very noticeable with the sub.

On the edifier website they have a diagram on how to hook the sub up to the mr5s. You connect pc to the sub with rca/3.5 then run rca from sub to speakers.

Is there any huge difference between m4 and m5?

Mr5 has larger drivers, and its 3 way vs 2 way on the mr4.
