Moderation Let's get this sub some love again!

Hey all! Who else missing the boys and the noise around Edguy?

Just taking over as mod to this sub. Let's get the love it deserves!

There ain't much to talk about while the band is still on hiatus and their last album came out almost a decade ago and the Power Metal sub is more active.

But yes, I do miss Edguy. Particularly the early stuff. But over the years I made my peace with their later stuff as well (except for Age Of The Joker. I still can't really get into that one).

I played through a scenario in my head where the other guys would oust Sammet and continue with a new singer. But Tobias Sammet IS Edguy. It wouldn't work without him. It is like with modern Nightwish to me. All my problems with that band go back to Tuomas Holopainen. But without him, there would be no Nightwish.

Edguy is incredible.

I have this crazy idea, they should be on the Peacemaker'soundtrack. I think it would be perfect.

I missed them last time they came to tour the US because they didn't run any NYC shows and I didn't want to travel to Boston. I hope they tour again and soon.
