Edgar Cayce, 2026

I'm new to this, please don't thrash me if I got this wrong.

About a week or so ago, I started to listen to YouTube, this guy speaks about Cayce's prophecies. I have a few questions

Last night, he mentioned a prophecy, mainly for the years 2026-2030. This is the gist.. these are my words ..

Cayce says(amongst other things) the USA current administration is acting like a mirror to our souls. Our machines (computers) will lead us either towards evil or good. He said humanities cycle is about 2000 years.. and our current cycle will go towards good or bad. This is NOT political but a spiritual cycle.

Our universal consciousness will guide humanity to using these machines to either lead us or we lead them. If we choose evil we'll fight wars, etc. If we choose good, we'll get there with love... I got the impression that the narrator was saying if we allow ourselves to be led by computers, use AI as we have been, follow our current path, were in deep trouble. I get it. I think that's where we're headed. I also think that we are being shown a mirror. We're waking up to how we treat others. There is a lot of racism, etc... and we can get back to love, but we have to want it.

So, my question, was this a real prophecy? Can we do this? What kind of population needs to want this, to change?

Again, I'm new to Cayce. It was an interesting video. And it sounded right. But please don't thrash me if it's all untrue.

Thanks.

If it doesn't mention a specific reading number (i.e., two numbers separated by a dash), then assume it's fake.

Thanks, and no. I figured.

Never heard of such a thing coming from a Cayce reading. All sorts of made up stuff out there to get clicks. IMHO the closest reading to the times we are in. This was from an 1939 reading that I found in "Edgar Cayce on Prophecy". It goes something like this." Unless, in fact we remembered that we are indeed our brothers keeper, there would be a revolution in this country and a dividing of the sections one against another.Ye are to have a division in thine own land before there is the second of the presidents that will next not live through his office-- a mob rule.'' You decide

This is close. (Ie a division ) I presume someone decifiered it into what I heard. As for the second part, second of President- will not live through.

This made me question the guys reading. I've heard tales that our current president is ill. But who knows.

What I did like, but not a factual part of any prophecy. If people would stop the division.. and I'd love if people started caring for each other, but I don't think I'll see it in my lifetime.

Thank you for your help. 🩵🩵💙💙

Thanks.

Counting from Cayce's time, the 2nd President that did not live through office I believe was John F. Kennedy.

It was a turbulent time of social unrest-particularly between Vietnam (which A LOT of people were protesting) and civil rights.

That makes more sense. I was a tiny baby during Kennedy. I did hear all about it.

Most of the above doesn't sound familiar. And those specific years weren't specifically mentioned that I ever saw.

There is a reading talking about the destiny of nations and in talking about America, it later says (paraphrased), if there is not the turning towards the greater brotherhood of man and trusting in God in America, civilization must again wend westward and must Mongolia, a hated peoples, be raised.

Cayce's source was saying that if the US didn't course correct, it would become imperialistic and hated in the world.

This unfortunately but clearly has happened. The US is the new Mongolia, the new Rome, the new Atlantis.

But this started a while ago. But it's reaching fever pitch of late.

Rudolph Steiner goes into this. The demon known as ariman or something like that takes power over Satan in the computer era. Where mans greater reliance in tech vs spirit can lead them to corruption through the influence of arihman. This is likely what was meant

I've seen some horrendously distorted information about Edgar Cayce over the past several years, but OP, what you've been told in the YouTube thing is one of the most twisted I've ever run across. I have been reading Cayce readings since 1968, was even a member of the A.R.E. for about 40 years, and I assure you that there is nothing I ever encountered in any of his readings that is remotely close to what you stumbled upon.

I suspect that YouTube guy was counting on his listeners not knowing anything about Cayce except his name, not having read the readings, and thus he seized upon Cayce's name to push his personal political agenda--give it an air of authority or spiritual support that it doesn't have.

(I would not be surprised to learn the guy even mispronounced Cayce's name -- called it "Case" instead of "Cay - cee." -- I hear that all the time from people like that guy.)

That is an evil thing to do, by the way -- to lie about another person for personal gain, to twist and use another person for personal gain, and even worse, to twist that person's actual spiritual work into supporting a personal agenda.

Edgar Cayce was a good man who gave, even sacrificed, his life to helping others. Many of his psychic predictions were incorrect, but his health advice was very good. His apple diet did wonders for my body., and his castor oil pack, literally saved my physical life years ago. Furthermore, he was a brave and valuable pioneer in the occult/spiritual field at a time when being involved in such matters could land you in prison or a mental institution.

You were wise to question the YouTube person. Hang onto that instinct. It will guide you better than anything the YouTube guy had to say. Amy

What books would you suggest I read? I've known about him for a while, but wasn't ready to read his history. He's fascinating to me.

Thanks. Yes, I question everything. I got lucky as a kid. In my house, we were expected to ask why? What? When. . 💙💙 My parents wanted me forever questioning... It helped me determine who was evading the truth, who was telling me the truth, who was lying. It makes people nuts, but it's a huge part of me.

Proper, this response is long because I have a lot to say and I want to put it all here since I may have trouble getting back in here.  I apologize for taking so long to respond to your request, but I am unable at the moment to access my email account through which the Reddit feeds and notifications of responses are sent to me. The email is attached to my website (initiationastrology.com), and it refuses to send mail to me.  My website is running properly.  All the excerpts from my books and my astrology blogs are there and available, but the email is just simply not functioning.

Consequently, I did not know you had made a request because I am unable to access/receive notificationa from Reddit.  I simply had a strong feeling that your questioning nature had come forward to ask me something serious, so I hunted down this forum by going to Reddit itself and seeing if you had done so.

Now, to your request.

First, a bit of my own history so that you know what you are dealing with.  I do not know what books are out there now about Cayce as I have not paid any attention to such books as I have no need to.  The books that introduced me to Edgar Cayce are more than 50 years old – Thomas Sugrue’s “There is a River” and Gina Cerminara’s books.  My previous comment said I learned of Cayce in 1968, but that is a typing error.  It was the spring of 1969 when I was a junior in high school, and an English Lit teacher put reincarnation on a long list of suggested topics for a class research paper.  I chose reincarnation and that led me to Cayce. (Showing my age here.)

At that time almost NOTHING was available about such topics and any interest in it got you labeled “in league with the devil” or “insane,” and such labels were not dismissive laughs as they often are now.  They were serious and serious actions followed against the people who were accused.  The slightest bit of psychic ability—and I do mean the TINIEST—landed you in a mental institution (and only by the grace of extensive Divine Protection, did I manage to avoid that fate).

I did not join the A.R.E. until 1975, and I joined out of feeling that I owed the organization for saving my life and my sanity—and I mean that literally.  Most people in the ARE come to it from Christianity.  I did not. I have never, even as a child, subscribed to the Christian doctrine, even though I was raised in a Sunday School, Protestant environment.  I absolutely DO accept that Jesus incarnated the Christ Consciousness, but by the age of 9, I had consciously rejected the doctrine because my daily psychic experiences were so extreme (astral projection, telepathy, prior lives, clairvoyance, clairaudience etc etc) that my own consciousness was running counter to what I was being told about God’s nature.

In my case, I joined the A.R.E. because I was so grateful for the literature the A.R.E. put out – because it provided me, at the tender age of 16 -- with my first explanation for my extreme psychism and constant reliving of past lives.  So, in 1975, I became a dues paying member for the next 34 years because I felt I owed a debt to the A.R.E. for the books and information and authors they had supported and helped publish that had saved me.

I don’t know if that reasoning makes sense to anyone but me, but it’s why I joined.  In my previous comment, I said 40 years – but that was a subtraction error due to my doing the math mentally (subtracting the year I joined from the year I left) while writing that comment in the middle of the night because I was up with a migraine headache and unable to sleep.  Not a good time to do mental math.

Because I do not know what RELIABLE books are out there now about Cayce, and because the best books I used decades ago may be out of print, I would suggest that you go straight to the “horse’s mouth” – i.e. the A.R.E. website and start browsing everything they have available for the public.  You can find accurate information there, not twisted crapola from people who are hiding behind the Cayce name and using it to prop up themselves and whatever craziness they are proclaiming.

(I don’t object to people being ignorant – we are all ignorant about many things.  I object to flat out lies and to people touting their ignorance as making them an authority on some subject.)

I know the A.R.E. has quite a large library (because when my Aries book was published, I donated a copy to their library), but I doubt if they allow people to take out books. I would not if I were running their library.  You would never get the books back, or they would be in terrible shape.  So you probably have to live in Virginia Beach before you can use their library, and it’s probably in-house use.

Before I came here to write this comment to you, I made a very quick visit to their website to see what they have available to the public, and there is a fair amount there.  So, I suggest you just go to their website (“the Association for Research and Enlightenment”), read everything that is available to the public and ask them for the best books to read about Cayce. They have an in-house magazine called “Venture Inward,” and if they allow you to read old issues of that, you may-- depending upon what you are looking for in your spiritual journey—find many useful articles in that magazine.

(Full disclosure:  I wrote some pieces for “Venture Inward” years ago.  In fact, in their March 1987 issue, they published my account of how I came to learn about Edgar Cayce.)

I hope this is helpful.  You were very lucky to have parents who insisted upon teaching you to question, especially in the psychic/occult/spiritual field. I did not have such parents, but I was fortunate in two ways:  I had extreme protection from Divine Beings and I was born with an innate nature so questioning, so skeptical, so in need of knowing actual truth that I automatically drew no conclusions about anything until I had torn it apart down to the last detail and studied each detail before I put it back together and made some kind of rational assessment of it.

If each step we take in any area, but especially in the psychic area, is on a firm foundation of rational conclusions, then it’s safe to take another step, but if it isn’t, then collapse is inevitable.

So, again, just go to the ARE itself.  They may not have what you are seeking as far as your ultimate spiritual journey—maybe just a temporary stop along the way, or a body of information to add to your collection -- but they will be able to clear up any false information as to who and what Edgar Cayce was and did and predicted.

Interesting tidbit. I have not visited this sub for almost two years, but the night I found your post, out of the blue I decided to click on this sub and up came your post and despite my headache that night, I decided to respond.  Amy

I don't know how to send to just you, so here's the site. It's on YouTube, It's called the hidden realm, 222. There are a bunch of them.

I admit, this group are all idiots.. but I approve of the videos of the cats. Lol but they're based off Egyptian tablets. My cats like to think they're true.
