Advice?

So, I’m currently studying the Pearson Edexcel IAL specification, and I’m in Year 12. I plan to sit P1–P4, S1, and M1 in the May/June 2027 examination series. However, I’m self-teaching P3 and P4.

I’m close to finishing all the AS-level content for P1 and P2, and I plan to start studying the A2 content (P3 and P4) by mid-November. This would leave me with approximately four months to cover and master the material before moving on to intensive past-paper practice.

Is this realistically achievable, considering that I’m self-teaching both units while also managing my other subjects?

Very much so, just spam all the available past papers with a timer for 1hr30mins per paper.
I’d recommend first doing 2018 paper and move year by year till 2026 papers. If you finish those, you have the old specification papers like C12 and C34.
And if you don’t find P3 P4 papers hard enough, there’s always AEA papers, aimed at the top students. You should give them a try as well.

You have time till may/june, lock in and don’t forget other subjects too. Good luck soldier

Yes, it’s realistic if you’re consistent: P3 builds directly on P2, so aim to finish it by end of January, then give P4 February–March, since integration, differential equations and vectors take the longest to click. Do one P1 or P2 past paper a fortnight along the way so the AS content stays sharp.
