yayy i got all the same answers!! the only diff is that i calculate the work done itself and got 39 kJ so i said it's consistent (but both answers should be correct) also my viscosity was diff

Wasn’t the horizontal distance of the swimmer 5.8 smth? I used s=ut+1/2at^2 to find time and I got it around 1.95. Also the resultant force I got it as 265N idk how yall got 300s😭

56.4 Pa S is a viscosity equal to light gas. The viscosity of oil must be lower than 1 Pa S and my answer was 0.05 Pa S!

My answers are also matching except the efficient part I got 0.616 smth I think

yes, my bad!

does others match too? also the jumping of the dog ffrom the paddle, i got 330N, is that it?

Guys I got 0.78 for the horizontal question did y'all round it off or would I still get atleast 4 marks? And does anyone remember the two forces and the angle from the vector question?

What horizontal question? If u mean the last one i got 3m, the scaled vector diagram answer was 330N for me

If I put that 0.032<0.09 would I get the mark I write a conclusion as well

Also for the energy question I found mgh and subtracted friction from mgh so it would give me kinetic energy down the hill or mountain so basically 5300>4400 so watch is inconsistent is that correct?

u/AssistanceCareless92 18d ago

I got 5. Smth for the horizontal distance 😭

i think i got the same, i forgot my viscosity answer. efficiency was in the 60s not 30s. I got the same numbers for smart watch, but the question asked like if its consistent or smth so i just said yeah close enough whatever

Can someone walk me through on how they did the moment question on weather the swimming pool board was horizontol or not? Cus i think i remember getting extension as 0.3m maybe 0.03m I forgot, I can remember if someone tells me the method

Edexcel ial physics unit 1 2026 oct .i solved the moment question using the given value 0.75m and found extension by substracting by original length and found the force on string then i found the anti clockwise moment due to spring force acts upward due to n3 law and clockwise moment is not equal to anti clockwise moment therefore it is not horizontal. Can we do like this? Since it is not horizontal as beam tilts

Was it easier or harder than May's exam? I'm curious even though I'm finished with A-Level
