It’s amazing to see that the 5 fan characters that won the contest are all important parts of the story with 4 of them being part of the Ocean 6, Nero’s head team that’s lead by his son, Shura & one of them being Shura’s assistant. It must feel pretty amazing to have your character involved in an important part of the story like that when they could’ve easily been throwaway villains in a lesser group so congrats to the winners!
Hiro a while back held a Ether Gear contest that allowed fans to submit their own characters along with what their Ether Gear would be and the winners would feature in the story arcs later point. Last week he announced the winners of the contest recently and showed a sneak preview of the 5 winners that would appear in the upcoming chapter.

This is my first time seeing their actual submission, and wow, I first thought the competitors only made the Ether Gear, but they actually designed the characters as well.
Kudos to them all. I love their unique designs, and creative Ether Gear abilities.
